It’s a true honour to sponsor Canada’s National Women’s Beach Volleyball team and design their uniforms for the 2024 season. “This is a really big moment for us,” says our co-founder, Laura Low Ah Kee. “It brings together form and function—beautiful designs that let you move in the most badass way.”

“We had two main focuses for the design: comfort and standing out on the court,” says our co-founder Shannon Savage. “Our signature fabric, balancing compression and comfort, was a perfect starting point.” Through meetings and many sweaty wear tests, we created a one-shouldered top with options for right- and left-handed players to keep their hitting arm free. And we took the team’s variations in size and coverage preferences into account to make sure everyone felt confident and ready to take home gold. “I felt really listened to through the design process,” says Melissa. “It’s everything that makes me feel my best, in one uniform that I can wear on the biggest stage of all.”

LOF x Canada National Women's Beach Volleyball

Since 2022, Left On Friday has proudly been the official sponsor Canada’s National Women’s Beach Volleyball team, outfitting the players in uniforms, bikinis and accessories for all their big games all over the world. As a Canadian company with a volleyball-loving team, it’s been a thrill to work with top-tier athletes on swimwear for an active beach lifestyle, from the designs to the wear tests to the big victories. "Left On Friday has developed a strong bond with our women’s beach teams,” says Kerry MacDonald, VC’s Beach Volleyball High Performance Manager. “Their attention to detail means a lot to the athletes who wear LOF with pride and confidence while representing Canada."
