The Brand Director leads the global brand expression of Left On Friday, owning both strategy and execution across all brand-facing channels. This role is responsible for building and executing the brand calendar—aligning launches, campaigns, partnerships, events, and storytelling to ensure consistent, impactful brand moments throughout the year.

The Brand Director oversees influencer and ambassador strategies, cultivating authentic relationships that extend the brand’s reach and credibility. This role also leads global events, partnerships, public relations, and social media, ensuring each channel works together to strengthen brand awareness, cultural relevance, and community connection.

As a senior leader, the Brand Director provides clear direction and mentorship to the brand team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture rooted in creativity, accountability, and excellence. Working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and leadership teams, this role plays a critical part in shaping how Left On Friday shows up globally—bringing the brand’s adventurous spirit to life at scale.

Brand Roadmap Ownership & Execution:
Own, drive, and execute the brand roadmap end-to-end. Translate vision into actionable strategies, clear priorities, and cross-functional plans that bring the LOF brand to life across every touchpoint.
Influencer, Ambassador & Partnership Strategies:
Be on the pulse of culture and community. Build and scale a world-class influencer, ambassador, and partnership strategy rooted in genuine relationships and deep brand advocacy. Lead all relationship management, negotiation, and strategic execution to expand LOF’s reach and relevance.
Global Events & Experiential:
Bring the brand to life through IRL moments that drive cultural relevance and connection. Own the strategy, execution, and measurement of events from pop-ups to global activations. Local store events will be owned by stores.
Social Media:
Provide leadership and direction for LOF’s social presence across all platforms. Manage and empower the Social Media Manager to execute best-in-class strategy, growth, engagement, and storytelling that reflect who we are and how we show up in the world.
Public Relations:
Manage the PR agency and lead PR strategy in partnership with internal and/or external teams to drive earned media and grow brand awareness.
People & Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead, coach, and empower a high-performing brand team while building strong partnerships across Product, Retail, Digital, and Operations. Ensure seamless alignment, tight communication, and exceptional day-to-day organization to keep the brand engine running smoothly.

A strategic & organized brand leader with 12+ years of experience building retail brands, ideally in high-growth or founder-led environments.
You’ve successfully scaled a retail brand and know what it takes to go from early traction to $100M+ in revenue.
A strong operator and storyteller, equally comfortable in the weeds with your team or presenting to Sr Leaders.Â
Strong network and instincts when it comes to influencer, celebrity, PR, and partnership strategy. An expert at building relationships.
Deep understanding of the digital landscape, and how brand and performance work hand in hand.
You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Salary Band: $175,000 – $200,000 USD
