Copywriter
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
3-4 days in office, 1-2 days remote
Salary Band: $75-100K USD
The Role
As Copywriter, you’ll be responsible for developing the words behind Left On Friday across the full customer experience. You’ll collaborate closely with Creative, Brand, Marketing, E-commerce, Product, and Social to bring campaigns, products, and ideas to life.
You’ll help evolve a distinctive voice that feels confident, intelligent, playful, effortless, and unmistakably Left On Friday.
You’ll write everything from a campaign headline to a product description, from a paid social hook to an email subject line and know how to make each one work.
What You’ll Do
-
Lead copy across the customer experience — developing compelling copy for campaigns, website, e-commerce, product, email, SMS, paid media, social, and digital channels.
-
Shape and evolve the Left On Friday voice — maintaining consistency while thoughtfully pushing the brand forward as it grows.
-
Concept and execute campaigns — partnering with Creative, Brand, Marketing, and Social to develop campaign ideas, headlines, taglines, scripts, and storytelling that make an impact.
-
Bring products and collections to life — translating features, function, performance, and design into copy that creates desire and emotional connection.
-
Own editorial storytelling — developing narratives and content that deepen our connection with the customer and strengthen the brand beyond the product.
-
Write for both brand and performance — creating copy that builds brand equity while driving engagement, conversion, and action.
-
Edit and elevate — reviewing copy across the organization to ensure clarity, consistency, and a distinctly Left On Friday point of view.
-
Use insights to make the work better — analyze engagement, conversion, customer feedback, and cultural trends to continuously refine and improve copy.
-
Stay culturally connected — bring a fresh perspective informed by fashion, fitness, travel, wellness, digital culture, and the modern active lifestyle.
